CHECKING THE FLUIDS

Well today Sabrina and I CHECKED the fluids, and I did my best in teaching Sabrina where everything is located and how to check just about everything there is to check on the truck. Sabrina seemed to really enjoy doing most of the work and even got under the truck to help me determine where the hell We're leaking oil from! I'm pretty sure its the OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT so most likely next week that is what you will see us doing.

TRYING TO FIND THAT OIL LEAK!!!!

Some time while I was under here this is what happend

Sabrina " Your gonna get oil on your face if your not careful"

Me " Oh stop I know what I'm doing I have seen my dad do this about a million times"

about 2 seconds past

Me " FUCK that was HOT"

Sabrina " You got oil on your face didn't you"

Me " SHUT UP  I DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT IT"

WELL I GUESS I DID'NT TAKE INTO FACT THAT MY DAD ALWAYS BURNT OR HURT HIMSELF WHILE WE WERE WORKING ON THE CARS!!

Window Crank Drivers side

Window crank on the drivers side was missing the clip to keep the handle on the door had to look up some tricks on how to do it but once I found out how to do it, it only took like 5 minutes!

when I bought the truck about a week ago man was it dirty today Sabrina and I took around and hour or so and cleaned it and it looks so much nicer also while cleaning it found some screw holes that I am going to fill with some JB weld.

1978 Chevrolet C10

I bought the truck for 1800 dollars what I bought was a stock 1978 C10 with a 327CI motor that only had 55000 miles on it. I decided last night that I was going to fix it up. Right now it leaks oil about a quart a week I'm pretty sure its leaking from the valve covers so the seals will need to be replaced!
I wanted to put chrome valve  covers on it anyways so I'm gonna kill two birds with one stone on that one, also it has no air filter so I will be getting one of those soon as well, I also have other projects to come from the truck a list of them beginning with the ones listed above oh and also IT NEED A RADIO!!!
I am planing to document ALL of the work I do to the truck and I'm wanting to do it all myself with the help of my wife behind the camera along the way
already I have replaced some fuses and that's about all.
